Using my Card Internationally

If you're planning to travel internationally, to help protect your account our partner bank requires a travel notice in order to make purchases on your Qapital Visa® Debit Card during your trip. Please reach out to our support team through the app or via email at support@qapital.com and let us know your destination, departure date and return date. Then, we’ll ask our partner bank to put a travel notice on your account.

International fees vary depending on the merchant, but they’re usually between 0%-3%.*

 

If your card does get locked for some reason, you may be contacted by SHAZAM Falcon® to authorize the charges. This is our third party card processor who handles fraud protection. If you don’t hear from them right away, you can contact SHAZAM Falcon® by phone at 855-219-5399 or 866-508-2693. Once you give the okay, your card will be unlocked. For security reasons only the account holder can authorize charges that are flagged as suspicious. 

 

*Qapital does not charge foreign transaction fees on purchases you make abroad with your Qapital Visa® Debit Card, however Visa® and international vendors sometimes do. Please note that if you use your Qapital Visa® Debit Card internationally, Visa® may include an International Service Assessment (ISA) fee of up to 1% of the total transaction amount.
