Setting up a Qapital Retirement Goal

To set up a new Qapital Retirement Goal, you can do so from the Overview tab by tapping the (+) sign in the top right corner and then ‘Create Retirement Goal’.

Once you have created a new Retirement Goal, we will help you choose the right IRA type and portfolio that best suits your investment needs. If you haven't yet established a Qapital Invest account, we will help you do so. After your account is opened it will take 5 to 7 business days for your funds to be transferred and invested.

There is a $10 minimum in order to set up a Retirement Goal. Note that funds held in a Qapital Invest account are NOT FDIC INSURED, MAY LOSE VALUE and are NOT BANK GUARANTEED. However, your Qapital Invest account is SIPC-protected, which means up to $500,000 ($250,000 in cash) is covered by the Securities Investors Protection Corporation (SIPC) should the company fail. It’s important to note that SIPC insurance doesn’t offer protection if you lose money due to market declines.
